I've been dabbling with guitar electronics for quite a while but debugging has been a little on the slow side despite having access to an oscilloscope. Most of the time I just wanted to hear the signal I touch so I could trace what happens with the input but I wasn't willing to probe with my real amp (Yes I know you could use a cap to decouple harmful DC signals, but still). So I've decided to build a mini benchtop amp that I wouldn't mind getting ruined. I got an old pair of PC speakers from dad and built a preamp circuit for it. Then I started planning the box and all the connectors and I think I ended up with something decent looking. It's not 100% finished, but definitely works!

The box, speaker grill frame and the Marshall logo are all 3D printed, the pot cap is in the process of making (currently letting gold paint dry)
Completed!
On top of my real amp
Works well enough for debugging. Has a bit of static, I suspect it's coming from the preamp but I'm not bothered by it too much to look into
:0 coolio
shouldve bought a vox pathfinder
tsk tsk tsk
jk, cool project, love it as a fellow guitarist
I have a fender frontman 10G as a backup which I absolutely hate, but even that was too big for an instrument like this
