#Filament spilling out...my bad or broken piece?

Hi so, to keep this short, i changed the filament spool and this happened. Unfort this is already the second time this happens in around 8 months, with exactly the same result: fused filaments spills out from top of the heater, and from between the nozzle and the heater, with particular enphasis on certain spots (one in the same place as the line where the heater has been closed by the manufacture but it may be just a coincidence) (see the pictures below).
To me, it seems like the filament spilled out inside of the chamber where the nozzle touches the heat break (but last time i made sure to tightly screw them near each other) and then came out both on top and on the bottom of the chamber. I'm putting myself in your wise hands, do you think something broke/clogged in the chamber? (i mean, spilled inside the layers of the chamber itself, not where i screw the nozzle), and i can't clean it anymore, or is it just the gap between the nozzle and the heat break onside the chamber? or is this a manufacture problem?

Additional info: both the chamber and the nozzle are from trianglelab, the nozzle in particular is one of those that split the filament (mine splits it in 3). i also wondered if it can cause some problems when i retract or remove the filament either during prints or when i change spool)? this time the problem arised after i changed spool, yet it kept on spilling for the whole 8 ours of print and only the new color, no traces of the previous one maybe stuck in it or something

AI Help

It sounds like you may be experiencing a heat creep issue, where heat travels up from the hotend causing filament to soften and leak. This can happen due to a few reasons such as a clog, improper reassembly, or incorrect temperature settings.

Here are a few steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

  1. Check for any clogs in the hotend and clean it thoroughly.
  2. Reassemble the hotend ensuring there are no gaps between the nozzle and heat break.
  3. Make sure the temperature settings are appropriate for the filament you are using.
  4. Consider upgrading to a higher-quality hotend or different nozzle design if the issue persists.

Regarding your specific setup with trianglelab components and the filament splitter nozzle, it's possible that the design or setup of the nozzle could be contributing to the issue. It may be worth experimenting with a different nozzle design to see if that resolves the problem.

If the issue continues despite these troubleshooting steps, it cou...

(as much as i like IA, i do pref human advices for things so peculiar/uniques like this for me 😅 )

(the filament i used is white, the black spots are just burnt white filament)

((i got a lot more spilling during the print, but it fell off and i cleaned it from time to time from the plate))
