#switching from creality v4.2.2 mainboard to v4.2.7 in klipper

To switch to a new mainboard in Klipper, you'll need to update the pin mapping in your printer.cfg file to match the pin configuration of the new v4.2.7 board. You can usually find the necessary pin mapping information in the manufacturer's documentation or online resources specific to your printer model and mainboard version. Make sure to also check and update any other relevant configurations in your printer.cfg file to ensure compatibility with the new board. Once you've made the necessary changes, save the file and restart your Klipper service for the changes to take effect. Good luck with the upgrade!
quck textdiff on the 2 configs i found for the boards just has the 4 motors step and dir pins flipped, only thing im seeing
this is my current config, if you need it
doesnt seem to match naything from the 2 ive found, but in theory it should just be the pins
oh wait i was looking at some wrong pairs, seems to match what i said above
And the mcu line as well once you find the right serial device for it.
i assume this line?
Yea on the terminal with the board plugged in type ls /dev/serial/by-id/* and that will list all with the full path you can copy and paste.
alright, thanks!
