Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra ~6 months old
Elegoo ABS like V2 resin

At intervals, during prints my screen appears to be flashing images in certain spots. These are not part of the print file and appears in all files I print. (see pics)
It started a couple of months ago with just one spot in the center of the plate. As I had a lot of other things going on at the time I just worked around it and was careful to do a vat clean before every print job. (probably not a bad SOP in any case). It is now multiple, much larger spots along the center of the plate.

  • During an exposure test I can't see any anomalies in these areas.
  • I have used Chitu and Lychee and it happens for files generated in both programs.
  • I have updated the printer firmware, twice, with no change.
  • I have gone through 3 or4 bottles of resin with the same result. So I doubt it has to do with that
  • I have tried 4 different settings recipes, one from the Elegoo website, all with no difference.

I'm officially stumped. Although that is probably not that large of a hurdle when it comes to printing.

Halp!
