#Hot end seems loose
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
It sounds like you may need to tighten the cube point on your hot end nozzle. Make sure to turn off your 3D printer and allow the nozzle to cool down before attempting to tighten it. You can use a wrench or pliers to carefully tighten the cube point until it is securely in place. Be careful not to overtighten it, as this could damage the nozzle. If you continue to have issues, please consult the manufacturer's guidelines or seek further assistance from a professional.
?hottighten
Remove the sock, screw it together, heat it up, tighten it
It’s not the nozzle itself it’s the cube point that’s insanely loose but would that be a reason for the problem?
look at the graphic....its loose until you fastened it. Is the heatbreak tight in the heatsink?
Yea it is? But it was loose before I changed nozzles.
Loosened the nozzle off. Still loose as anything
May have to disconnect the wires and tighten it up
Screw the heatbreak in until its flush with the block, screw the nozzle in fingertight, heat up and hottighten
if the nozzle bottoms out against the block, the heatbreak isn't in far enough or you are using the wrong nozzle (MK8 nozzle in a V6 block)
I asked in here before and was told I have the right nozzle and bought specifically for my printer the nozzle I’ve got. The heatbreak will have to be tightened though
What do I do about this glue?
