#Creality ender 3 v3 se fan upgrade - hot fan
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
It is normal for 3D printer fans, especially smaller ones, to generate some heat during operation. However, if the fan is getting excessively hot, it could be a sign of an issue. Make sure the fan is properly installed and not obstructed. If the heat persists, it may be a good idea to consult with the manufacturer or consider replacing the fan with a different model.
its also louder / the same as the 2510 fan
so im wondering why do people actually do this upgrade
when the fan controller controls the blower fan which is actually the noisy one you were able to turn down
Yes, since you overvolt your 12V fan to 24V
wdym
how do i keep it at 12
Your printer runs on 24V, have you put a buck converter in line with the fan?
in the videos they use 24V fans
yeah
and i bought a 24v fan as well
and its just as loud
and then i was told to get a 12v
i bought a 24v
was told to get a 12v
so i did
and the noise hasnt changed
the 2510 fan is somehow quieter
If you are the guy who I think you are, I told you to get a buck converter to undervolt the 24V fan to 12V
yeah but why doesnt anyone in the videos do that
they get a 24v fan and they say its quieter
They are content with the noise or bought a different/better fan
Sure it works if done right🤷
i did it like the videos showed
noctua
should be a decent fan
if it worked like the videos showed
just gonna return the printer and get an a1 mini
