I have tried printing this twice and I keep getting blobs that cause scarring. So far this is the worst.
I'm hoping to get some input on what might cause this.

It sounds like you may be experiencing issues with stringing or over-extrusion, resulting in blobs and scarring on your print. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check your retraction settings: Adjust your retraction settings in your slicing software to reduce stringing. Increasing the retraction distance and speed can help alleviate this issue.
Calibrate your extruder: Ensure that your extruder is properly calibrated to prevent over-extrusion. This can be done by measuring the amount of filament that is actually being extruded and adjusting the flow rate accordingly.
Check your print temperature: Make sure you are printing at the recommended temperature for the PETG and PLA materials you are using. Printing too hot can lead to oozing and blobs on the print.
Increase cooling: Improving part cooling can help reduce the formation of blobs. Make sure your fan is functioning properly and adjust the cooling settings in your slicer if needed.
