#Getting SV06 to print at least 250mm/s

Hi Guys,
this forum helped to choose the printer and now I'm ready to test a little bit more.
Just recently I was printing with my SV06 at 250mm/s, I use klipper and everything is well greased.
The problem is that I can't get a consistent behavior. Before using any spool I print calibration prints and use them to fine tune.

  • I calibrated acceleration on the printer using the accelerometer.
  • I dry my spools in the dryer until around 15% moisture before printing.
  • I manually calibrated the driver on the extruder to not super tight the filament.
  • gantry very levelled as well

I just can't get a good consistency on the print print at such speeds. Sometimes is stringing, Sometimes the spool jams.
Most of the retracting towers from 0.1-1mm retract at 40mm/s have almost the same result.
Dimensional wise is also pretty on spot with +-0.2mm differences.
At 60mm/s pirnting speeds I see less random problems.

Have anyone experienced something similar?
I just moved so I don't have references pictures, will do it ASAP.

It sounds like you have done a good job troubleshooting so far. Printing at high speeds can be challenging and may require adjustments beyond what you have already done. Here are some additional suggestions to improve print consistency at high speeds:

  1. Hotend Temperature: Ensure that your hotend temperature is appropriate for the filament you are using. Sometimes higher speeds require slightly higher temperatures to prevent issues like stringing.

  2. Cooling: Check if your part cooling fan is working properly and positioned correctly. Proper cooling can help prevent issues like stringing and improve overhang performance.

  3. Filament Quality: Even with drying the filament, poor-quality filament can still cause issues at high speeds. Try printing with a different brand or type of filament to see if there is any improvement.

  4. Print Settings: Adjusting settings such as retraction distance, retraction speed, and print acceleration can also help in reducing stringin...
