Hello guys, i need a bit of help. I had a 4.2.7 with professional firmware installed previously, had to change the motherboard (Bought another 4.2.7, as it worked fine and it was silent).

Issue is, now is much louder. I tried a few suggestions i got (enabling stealthchop mainly), but it appears that is not working ("Unknown command"). Any other ideas? I currently have Professional Firmware as i did before too.

Tried so far;
M569
M122 (to output status, invalid command too)
M568

I use this official build of Professional Firmware

It sounds like you are trying to enable StealthChop mode in your TMC drivers to reduce the noise level of your 3D printer. Since the "Unknown command" response indicates that the StealthChop mode might not be available in the firmware you are using, you may need to check if the Professional Firmware version you have supports StealthChop for the TMC drivers.

If the StealthChop mode is not available in the firmware you are using, you may need to consider updating to a different firmware version that supports it or explore other options for reducing the noise from your 3D printer, such as adjusting motor current settings or installing dampening solutions.

If you encounter any issues with the firmware or need further assistance, feel free to provide more details, and I'll do my best to help you troubleshoot the problem with your 3D printer.

@tepid geodeI've hear that creality went creative with their boards and used any driver available

#

so it may be a A4480 or TMC2208 or TMC2209. At random

#

and some boards even have 2209 for XY but A4480 for E and Z..
