AI Help

It's difficult to determine if it's under extrusion or Z-banding without seeing the print quality. Under extrusion typically leads to gaps in print layers, while Z-banding results in visible horizontal lines on the printed object.

For under extrusion issues, you can check your printer's extruder calibration, ensure there are no clogs in the nozzle, and adjust the extrusion multiplier in your slicer.

For Z-banding problems, you can try adjusting your printer's Z-axis alignment, check for any bent or loose rods, and ensure the printer frame is stable.

I can't provide direct links, but you can search online for tutorials on under extrusion and Z-banding troubleshooting specific to your 3D printer model for detailed guidance.

zealous cypress

Print speed: 70
Material: PLA
PLA: 200
PLA Bed: 60

solar wren

#

what about your belts, are they tight?

zealous cypress
#

i would say so

solar wren
#

do they resonate when you strike them?

#

should be a low tone

zealous cypress
#

let me double check

#

yep

solar wren
#

if it is zbanding it would be extreme

#

you do have some wobbling issue, look at the corners... but that could be due to other things

zealous cypress
#

well my z axis is wobbling

solar wren
#

must be crazy then

#

but yeah, fix your Z if you see it wooble

zealous cypress
#

can you link me to an tutorial

#

because what i heard is its a z roller problem

solar wren
#

it can be many things, but what I'ld do is free your bed from your Z screw and check if it is straight or if it is bent

#

also check the rollers

#

the excentric is to be checked first
