I'm looking for firmware for my SV06 that will respect the pause g-code command. Although some other features would be nice, I'm not interested in setting up klipper right now if it's at all avoidable, just trying to go through the minimal amount of setup that can get me pause.

I tried updating to the newest official firmware - it displays PAUSE on the screen but still skips right past it. I'm inserting the pause in prusa slicer.

It is there, but it seems to be M601

#

That came from prusa slicer's "insert pause" option. I could try inserting custom with M600

M600 worked. It actually initiates the filament switch which is a bit annoying, but it'll get the job done. Thanks!
