#Unable to fit new heat cartridge in new heat block

It is possible that there may have been an error with the packaging or the parts themselves. It is not normal for components to have no tolerance or be so tight that they cannot be assembled. I recommend reaching out to the manufacturer or supplier for assistance or replacement parts. They may have a specific solution or workaround for this issue.

usually you put the cartridge in and secure it with a set screw or clamp the block down with a screw. Did you miss a tiny screw on the block?
I did see those, but it doesn’t even make it into the barrel. I reached out to the place I bought it to see if it may have been a mistake. Because as is, it’s a .3mm difference, even. With thermal expansion, I don’t think the aluminum is giving up that much.
No as an inside hole it would only get tighter
I guess I could throw it in a vice and bore out the heater block a bit with a drill press. Seems extreme.
Seems fine, I would have used a clamp and a handheld drill
