#Nylon stuck in nozzle

It sounds like you may be experiencing a clogging issue with your nozzle. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:
-
Increase the nozzle temperature: Nylon typically requires higher temperatures to print successfully. Try increasing the nozzle temperature by 5-10 degrees Celsius and see if that helps prevent the filament from getting stuck.
-
Slow down the print speed: Printing too quickly can sometimes cause the filament to jam. Try decreasing the print speed to see if that helps with the clogging issue.
-
Check the filament diameter: Make sure that the filament diameter is compatible with your printer's settings. Using the wrong diameter filament can cause clogs.
-
Clean the nozzle: If you're still experiencing clogs, you may need to clean out your nozzle. You can try using a nozzle cleaning kit or a small drill bit to clear any obstructions.
-
Consider using a different brand of filament: Not all nylon filaments are created equal. Trying a different brand...
Any reason why you are printing nylon ?
Nylon is hell to print and what you are describing is close to heat creep, can you give more information ?
Iam printing some functional prototype that needs to resist pressure, and nylon should do that
I was also thinking about a PC, but that's too expensive
check if the heat sink fan is cooling the heat sink
I think the issue is that every time it retract the filament kinda curves and that curved part wont get through the gears
I don’t know how did that metal piece got loose
im using .80 retraction and the filament is new so I did not even put it into drybox (its kinda broken and I did not fixed it yet)
Retraction settings
that's soft material in the heat break, try reducing the retraction to 0.5 and check if the fan is spinning fine
The fans are fine and I reduced retraction to .5.... but its still terrible
