It sounds like you may be having issues with adhesion to the print bed or possibly with the slicing settings for your prints. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot:
- Ensure your printer bed is level and properly calibrated.
- Make sure your print bed is clean and free of any residue that could affect adhesion.
- Adjust the printing temperature and speed settings in your slicer software.
- Check the quality of your filament - old or poor-quality filament can cause issues with print quality.
- If the phone stand design has thin or delicate parts, you may need to adjust your slicer settings for better support.
If you continue to have issues, it might be helpful to join a 3D printing community or forum for more specific advice based on your printer model and the materials you are using.

I use anycubic slicer and am using a anycubic korba 2 neo
What infill percentage are you using, and what was recommended by the designer?
Peel this bit open and see what's inside?
How?
I'd either redesign to add strength where it snapped, change location on the bed and make sure the infill pattern reinforces the weak spots, or increase infill a lot.
Ok, I'd do both of the first 2.
Knife, pliers, screwdriver, whatever you have to hand that can disect your failed print
What do you mean by cut open? What am I looking for?
I broke off one of the hinges after taming off the arms
So only certain parts are fusing
I'm seeing a lot of empty space for 20% infill
But it's a hing
The bit that attaches the hinge to the rest of the print is just outer layers, nothing inside to add strength.
Do you have a test print in place I can do???
All the visible breaks show as completely hollow, no strength being added at all by infill.
Just so we can I don't know workshop this
No, I don't have a stock of test prints.
I wish this place had voice chat
Can you check your slicer, and screenshot a mid layer of the layer by layer breakdown?
Huh???
It was impossible to moderate.
Dang it, would it be cool if we switched too a voice chat?
Some slicers allow you to look at how the print will be run, so you can look at the sliced print and check the paths and infill patterns etc.
It's 11:30pm here, I'll be heading to bed soon.
So we can see the points of breakage had infill lines just before and after them, we need to find a way to reinforce the areas that snapped.
Modify the design file with extra walls in those areas.
If you have the link I can look at it for you (assuming it's a free to use STL).
I'll take a look tomorrow and answer here.
ok
