Hi I think I shortened the board with bad isolated hotend cable.... I turned on extruder and everything turned off (everything from printer, display fans etc).

Now it doesn't work. However, when I set jumper to 5 v the display turned on and klipler seemed to have connection to mcu because it showed up normal display stuff instead of blocks. But in this state I can't reach webinterface.

Now I need help to investigate. I think it might be fixable with research and some assistance.

Schematics are available but I can't read/interpret them.

I dont know what to do. I have a feeling that it must be fixable

It sounds like you may have damaged some components, possibly due to a short circuit. I'd recommend checking the power supply, fuses, and connections for any visible damage. Make sure all connections are secure and not loose. You may need to consult the manufacturer's documentation or contact their support for further assistance.

If you're comfortable with electronics and have experience troubleshooting circuit boards, you can try to trace the power flow using the schematics you mentioned. However, please proceed with caution, as working with electronics can be dangerous if you're not familiar with it.

If you're unable to resolve the issue on your own, it might be best to seek help from a professional or the manufacturer to ensure the safety and proper functioning of your printer.

Board is gt2560 v4.0 and printer is geeetech a10t

Should I remove all stepper etc and try turning on again? (In case something like that is broken or so) to exclude potential failing points?
I'm really unexperienced but would like to use the opportunity to learn some things and ultimately of course fix the board

Don't know what ro do and where to start 😭

Is it possible that the psu 24V rail is damaged? Should I test that first of all?

alr so what tools u got?

Seemed fine when I tested with other

#

But I test psu at the 4pin correct?

hallow verge
#

I think that it's a 2 pin split to 4 so that it won't burn the connector (early rtx issues)

#

check voltage between these two points

after the fuse and heatsink

Oh ok

It said -22 and a led turned on next to heatsink

#

Same with the second one?

#

Should I test the second one same way?

#

I did with second one and nothing happens
