#bed leveling issues on my ender 3v2

Hi, I recently fixed my hot end on my ender 3v2 after it was broken for a long time and have been trying to get my printer to print again. I have always had issues with getting my bed level and not having my nozzle scrape the glass bed, but now it seems they are worse.

I’m using stiffer springs than the stock ones so the problem shouldn’t be with them.

I’m trying to first adjust the bed by getting every corner to give the nozzle the same friction against a piece of paper and then using a print to help with leveling I found online, but I can’t manage to get past the first step.

Whenever I manage to get the friction I want on one side and move to another and get the right friction there once I move back it feels like the friction on the other sides is now completely off. I’ve spent a while just moving between each corner but it seems like every time I adjust one side all of the others are no longer the same distance from the nozzle.

It seems it might be an issue with how the bed is being held in place as occasionally when I move back to one side the bed is too close to the nozzle no matter how much the spring is compressed, but after I press down on the bed it seems like it snaps back into place and I’m able to readjust, but then the problem with all of the other sides continues.

So far I’ve mostly just tried to tighten the rolling mechanism below the bed for the y axis and made sure the spring tightening screws were in place

I’ve looked online and I saw a lot of recommendations to adjust the z-stop but for me it doesn’t seem to be an issue of the nozzle height itself being too high or too low.

Any tips on how to fix this? It definitely feels like there’s something I’m missing and I can’t figure out what it is. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you are experiencing some issues with bed leveling on your Ender 3v2. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check Bed Stability: Make sure all the screws and nuts holding the bed in place are tight and secure. Loose screws can lead to inconsistent leveling.

  2. Check X-Axis Assembly: Ensure that the X-axis assembly and gantry are properly aligned and tightened. Any misalignment can cause leveling issues.

  3. Check Hotend Assembly: Double-check that the hotend assembly is securely attached to the X-carriage. Any wobbling or misalignment here can affect bed leveling.

  4. Consider Upgrading: If you continue to face issues with bed leveling, you may want to consider upgrading to a sturdier bed leveling system such as an automatic bed leveling sensor.

  5. Seek Community Help: If you're still unable to resolve the issue, consider reaching out to online communities or forums specific to the Ender 3v2 for further assistance and troubleshoot...

It’s a glass bed, so the surface itself is straight
