#My extruder isn’t extruding. anyone got help?

It sounds like you might be experiencing a clog in your extruder. Try heating up the extruder to the appropriate temperature for the filament you are using and manually pushing the filament through to clear any obstructions. It's also a good idea to check if the extruder gear is properly gripping the filament. If these steps don't work, you may need to disassemble the extruder for a more thorough cleaning. Be sure to exercise caution when working with hot components.
Sounds like your nozzle is clogged. Do you have a spare nozzle ?
I can’t unload the filament as it isn’t working
So you cannot retract it ?
It is stuck and will not retract. I don’t know whether that is due to the glue
Probably not due to the glue
I can’t manually push the filament into the extruder either due to the filament tube
You can try to set the nozzle temp on the high end of your filament, remove the bowden tube if there is one, and pull on the filament while you release the filament clamp thingy on your extruder
aha I see
How easy is it to change the nozzle on that machine ?
I’ve never done it since I am relatively new to 3d printing
Actually I did try once but I made a mistake and it took an hour to fix
First step would be to see how to remove the tube, typically there is a clip to remove and then press on the fit and pull on the tube at the same time
Would that require removing the filament inside
Not sure how it is on your machine, but on mine I can do it without removing the filament
Ok I will have a look
?pushfitting
Push in fittings are suitable for compressed air and water systems and can be used with nylon or polyurethane tube. Easy to connect and disconnect.

They work like this
Most require a fair bit of force but be careful
Will it work if the tube has filament in as mine is stuck in
should work. Its probably stuck somewhere in the toolhead and not the tube
The flashforge uses quick change nozzles so it should be fairly easy
Ok thank you. Will take a look now

I have manages to get the extruder out with the filament. What is my next step
Well its stuck in the nozzle/heatbreak. With a normal nozzle I would have suggested heating it up and pulling the filament out. But that seems to be a bit challenging here.
Have you tried to carefully pull it like this?
A cold pull would seem appropriate
just pull firmly on the filament, try to not break it, hopefully it will come out with the clog
well then you are in trouble, and will probably have to buy a new hotend
or try to put the hotend back in the printer and put another filament
Ok will try that
we still do not know if it is a nozzle clog or the extruder motor that has an issue
now if you have another hotend, then just try that one in the printer and see if it prints again
It didn’t come with an extra one so I will try put it back in
you can try if its the extruder motor by simply feeding filament without it going to the hotend
I fixed the issue. I tried poking the end of the extruder with a needle to release the clog and then a bunch of black goop came out of the extruder. It is now fixed
Congrats 😄
