#heat bed not heating

I'm having a problem with the Heatbed of my Anycubic mega pro. I tried to turn off and on again and the Heat bed won't reach the needed temperature of 60° C to start printing. I even checked the wires and they all seem fine. The heat bed temperature stays at 24/25°C but seems to react to the environmental heat.
This error started to occur whilst it was printing.
I looked it up, but didn't find any fitting problem solution.
I'm looking forward for your help.

It sounds like there may be an issue with the heat bed itself or the connection to the printer. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Double-check the connection between the heat bed and the printer. Make sure the wires are securely connected and there are no visible signs of damage.

  2. Check the temperature reading on the printer display against a separate thermometer to ensure accuracy. If there is a significant discrepancy, the temperature sensor may be malfunctioning.

  3. If the heat bed is not heating up at all, it could be a fault with the heating element. You may need to replace the heat bed.

  4. If the heat bed is reacting to environmental temperature changes, it could indicate a problem with the control board. You could try updating the firmware on your printer to see if that resolves the issue.

If none of these steps solve the problem, you may need to contact Anycubic customer support for further assistance.

Yea I tried to heat it manually with the menu but it didn't go up any degrees

check if the power wires are still attached properly to the board

#

I did and measured the voltages

#

The output to the heating element was at 0V which should be at 12V

How can i fix it

If it is that, new board I am afraid. Or you get an external mosfet and drive that with another pwm'able pin (like a fan port)

👀

Does the mosfet has any signs of being dead?

#

Like burnmarks?

fair sun
#

I don't see anything wrong with it

Can you send a photo? Of the board? Well lit and in focus if possible

fair sun
#

But there's a led underneath it in the board and it's like flickering

#

If a new main board isn't an option, I have to get an external MOSFET right?

Could still be a broken heater in the bed

#

where did you measure?

With the hotend

# fair sun .

Was the heater on when you measured? Was the heater in when you measured?

fair sun
#

Yea

#

I opened it up and measured while it was connected to the power supply and went into the menu to manually heat it and then measured

#

The input was at 12V when I measured it

#

The output was at 0V like said

#

Any ideas?

Sounds like a dead mosfet😕

external mosfet time?

Definitely the easiest, it's just some wiring and Marlin compilation, no probing.
If the heater is dead though, it won't help it
