#Filament extruding to the side or not at all - HUGE PROBLEM - ENDER 3 V2

I am having a problem with my ender 3 v2 that I have been having for weeks.

When I print, every time, filament either goes out the nozzle then to the side of the nozzle and doesn't go onto the bed, or the filament doesn't go out the nozzle. This constantly happens and hasn't been fixed.

There is NO CLOG in my printer. My filament is DRY and my Z-offset is perfect and my bed is completely level.

My nozzle and bed temperature is completely fine, I have replaced the nozzle to try fix this, my bed adhesion is not a problem as filament literally doesn't come out and my extruder works fine as I am able to use it manually to extrude filament and it moves when printing.

I have asked on this discord server numerous times and have been told to fix the possible issues that I listed above. It seems that nobody has had this problem. Please can you help me and try figure out what is happening with my printer as it is a real pain to not be able to use it at all.

AI Help

It sounds like you have covered most of the common troubleshooting steps already. Since you have ensured that there is no clog, the filament is dry, the Z-offset is correct, and the temperatures are fine, the issue might be related to the extrusion itself.

Here are a few suggestions to further troubleshoot the problem with filament not extruding correctly:

  1. Check Extruder Tension: Make sure that the tension on the extruder arm is adequate to push the filament through. If the tension is too loose, the gear may not grip the filament properly.

  2. Check Filament Path: Ensure that there are no obstructions or issues in the filament path leading up to the nozzle. Sometimes, small pieces of debris can cause extrusion issues.

  3. Calibrate Esteps: It is possible that the steps/mm setting for your extruder (Esteps) may need calibration. You can find guides online on how to properly calibrate this for your specific printer.

  4. Inspect PTFE Tube: Check the PTFE tube that ...

Seems like the E3v2 curse transmitted from me to you.

#

This may be a shot in the dark, but:

Change PTFE?
Try turning off your fan and extruding??????
Uh... Yeah, this sounds like a E3v2 Curse.

there's an e3v2 curse?

#

damn man

I would suggest taking a little break.

#

I really cannot understand why this is happening either

#

Actually

#

Try to cut a bunch of the filament off? possibly the diameter of your filament is shit.

well thanks man

#

this is the most obscure issue of all time

No wonder

It's creality, what did you expect

cunning cosmos
#

Hows your experience with it been?

#

Idk I read some reviews and they said it were good and I bought it

#

It was cheap 🤷‍♂️

First few months were AWFUL.

Hahahahahah

narrow quiver

EXACTLY.

cunning cosmos

Dude I don't even know where I am on this right now, I've gone through like all the issues with this thing and I'm still stupid

narrow quiver
#

Yeah, just take a break.

cunning cosmos
#

Wish I could, but I gotta 3D print something for my design class 😂

narrow quiver
#

Look for 3D printing services in your area for now?

#

Or

Honestly though, this is good. It's conditioning me to be the most patient I've ever been

#

I'll grind it out a bit more tonight then try find another way lol

narrow quiver
#

At this point if you're really fucking desperate and very darn impatient, take apart the whole hotend, get new parts all over, hotend and extrusion assembly

#

And get yourself upgraded parts

#

like a Direct drive kit

#

or a BMG and a high end nozzle + hotend

"That is the most correct sentence I've ever read"

cunning cosmos

Aight man well I'm gonna try some of the stuff you said and see what happens

#

Thanks 👍

Good luck? Oh wait I forgot it's an ender 3 v2 with the curse, there's no good luck here.

Creality luck
