#Fan issue on UM2

Good morning,
I recently bought a Multimaker 2 3D printer, except that the problem was that the 3 fans on the print head did not work. I tried to take the voltages at the terminals of the fans to see if they were burnt out and that they were just not turning but the voltage is 0 so they are not powered. So I took it apart to see if the electronic board had anything burned and I found that resistor R53 was burned. I don't know if that has any importance on the fans but hey, I haven't yet looked to see if the fan wires have all simply melted or anything because they are connected in series which should break them all but I will check tomorrow . No idea what the problem might be with the printer? Could the damaged resistor be the source of the problem? (The printer has already seen its fans turn)
Thank you!

It sounds like you have already made some good observations and progress in troubleshooting the issue with your Ultimaker 2 3D printer. The burned resistor R53 could indeed be the source of the problem causing the fans not to receive power. It's possible that the damaged resistor is in the circuit that provides power to the fans, so replacing it might resolve the issue. Additionally, checking the fan wires for any damage or disconnections is also a good idea.
I recommend replacing the burned resistor R53 and carefully inspecting the fan wires to ensure there are no other underlying issues causing the fans not to work. Once you have made these repairs, test the fans again to see if they are functioning properly. If you continue to experience issues, further troubleshooting may be necessary.

If you need additional assistance, you may consider reaching out to Ultimaker's customer support or consulting with experienced users on 3D printing forums. Good luck with resolving the problem...
