How do you paint? just basecolors with a normal brush then you add the highlights and secondary colors with a really thinned down paint? Looks great

I first used a mix cinnamon color for the shell.I then sponged on a special version of the basic yellow color for the effect. Thank you so much for your nice cxomment

I tried sponging before, it ruined the entire model 😂

It might have been too thick, it wasn’t a nice textured fade, it was just a whole lot of dense paint

yea You probably got too much paint on the sponge.
