#A1 silicone sock melted, can’t remove nozzle

It sounds like the silicone sock may have fused to the nozzle due to the heat. To remove it, you can try heating the nozzle to a high temperature to soften the silicone and carefully removing it using pliers or a wrench. Be sure to exercise caution when working with hot components. If the sock is difficult to remove, it may be best to replace the entire hotend assembly.
Then thats filament
does the sock look damaged?
And feels
I put my finger in and a chunk came out, I’m really sure it’s the sock
Is it worth trying to disassemble the head to get the hotend assembly out
Well its a quick change system designed for easy nozzle changes🤷 so if you feel the need to go ahead.
The nozzle can’t be removed, it’s almost cemented in place, maybe I could heat the hotend to 250 or so and then try to remove it with a tool or a good glove?
100ºC is probably enough
Turn the printer off before removing, no clue what the A1 does when the nozzle is removed while heating
Ok, will try
Worked! Nozzle removed, heated it to 110 and pulled it out with some tweezers, nozzle is covered and it feels like it’s probably filament, this probably needs to be cleaned up, should I go ahead and search how to clean nozzles and apply that to both the nozzle and the hotend assembly?
Or actually does any of this need cleaning?
If you have a heatgun gently heat it up and carfully scrape it of or use a brass brush
Or a hairdryer. Just takes longer. Or a blowtorch (hard to control, might damage stuff)
Does the head need to be cleaned or is it safe to leave it as is?
The mounting plate? Better clean it
Ok, well ty so much for the help
