Hey just picked up a e3 v2 to tinker around with as a first printer. It came with the creality silent board, direct drive, metal extruder, and the yellow springs. He also threw in a bt level probe or something I need to install still. He also suggested I look into doing the dual z axis and some blue tube upgrade or something 🤷♂️ are those things I should look at doing? Thank you!

AI Help
Congratulations on your new Ender 3 V2 3D printer! It sounds like you have some nice upgrades already included. Installing the BLTouch leveling probe can be helpful for more precise bed leveling. As for the dual Z-axis upgrade, it can help in keeping the gantry level and improving overall print quality, so it may be worth considering. The "blue tube upgrade" is not a standard term in the 3D printing community, so you may want to clarify that with the person who suggested it. Don't hesitate to ask for help with the installations, and enjoy your 3D printing journey!

At least the “blue tube” is not necessary but I would recommend getting it eventually bc my old stock Bowden looked like a deep fried sponge after some use. Also the wear I’m describing will clog up your hot end if you run it at too high temperatures
As with the dual z stepper I read around and it seems unnecessary and also there are better options
Ok ya I saw the tube upgrade wasn’t expensive so will do that. The z axis I had checked on Amazon and saw 2 different options. One was the z axis and a ring synchronizer I dunno. I had seen some people say do it some say doesn’t matter. I just wanted more reliability.
