A lot of my supports end up failing or partially failing and end up like the picture. They kind of turn to spaghetti. Sometimes they partly recover, but sometimes don't.

Any ideas on how to stop this happening?

It looks like your 3D prints are experiencing issues with supports failing or partially failing, leading to a spaghetti-like appearance. To address this problem, consider the following tips:

  1. Increase support density: Adjust your slicing software settings to increase the density of the support structure. More dense supports provide better stability and are less likely to fail.

  2. Use thicker support pillars: Increasing the thickness of support pillars can improve their strength and reduce the chances of failure.

  3. Optimize support placement: Ensure that supports are strategically placed to provide adequate support to overhanging areas without being excessive, which can lead to difficulties in removing them cleanly.

  4. Check support interface settings: Adjust the settings in your slicing software to optimize the support interface layers, which can improve adhesion between the model and the support structure.

  5. Consider using different support materials: Some filaments, like ...
