I'm working on a fairly simple model in Blender for 3D print. I've run the 3D toolbox addon to check for issues and its flagged up zero faces and selected them so I can see which. However I don't understand whats wrong with them as it looks like a fairly simple model. I've checked normals are facing the right way and also merged by distance.

It's great that you're using the 3D Toolbox addon to check for issues in your model before 3D printing. If zero faces are being selected, it could be due to either extremely small or inverted faces that are not easily visible in the viewport. You may also want to check for any overlapping vertices or stray geometry that could be causing the issue. Additionally, you can try running the "Intersect" and "Non-Manifold" checks to identify any further problems that may not be immediately apparent. If you're still facing difficulties, feel free to share more information or screenshots for a more detailed analysis.
