I just swapped to an SKR 3 EZ (and a new screen) for my ender 5 plus. I think ive just got all the marlin issues fixed as well. But i noticed when I turn on my printer, there is a buzzing noise coming from my PSU. I didnt notice it before as the fans cover it (ive had this stock printer for about two years now). So i mightve always had it. But now with marlon, there are no fans on start up so I can hear the buzzing clearly. It is a consistent noise. Not sure if that helps. If its worrisome, are PSU swaps common on printers?

The buzzing noise coming from your PSU could be a normal operating sound, but it's worth investigating to ensure there are no underlying issues. PSU swaps are not extremely common on printers, but they can be done if necessary. If you're concerned about the noise, I recommend checking the connections to the PSU, making sure everything is secure, and confirming that the voltage settings are correct. If the noise persists or you notice any other strange behavior, it may be a good idea to consult with the manufacturer or a professional technician for further assistance.

the Ender 5 Plus has power issues .. the PSU is way under specced for it (assuming its the original 500w PSU.
I would seriously advice getting a replacement PSU for it ... the MeanWell SE-600-24 is a very good one ..
downside of it is that it doesnt fit the electronics box .. but there are propper ways of making a replacement place behind it connecting it to the alu bars at the bottom behind the elec box
