I have a Qidi xmax 3 and i am using overture nylon filament. i have set the settings in the orca slicer to match the recommended settings in the nylon spec sheet but when i export the g code and try to print, it only heats the bed and says extruder and chamber temp are 0 in the printer and wont print. I have definitely set those to 260 C and 50 C repectively. I have tried both qidi slicer and orca slicer and both do the same thing. How do i fix this ?

It sounds like there may be a communication issue between your slicer software and your Qidi X-Max 3 printer. This could be due to a problem with the G-code generated by the slicer.

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Make sure your slicer software is configured to output the correct G-code format for your printer. Check if there is a specific Qidi X-Max 3 printer profile available in the slicer settings.

  2. Verify that the G-code file exported from the slicer contains the correct temperature commands for the extruder and chamber. You can open the G-code file in a text editor to check.

  3. Ensure that the filament is properly loaded and that there are no obstructions in the extruder.

  4. Update the firmware on your printer to the latest version, as sometimes firmware updates can resolve communication issues.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, you may want to reach out to Qidi Tech support for further assistance.
