#Major stringing
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
It looks like your printer settings may need some adjustments. Here are a few troubleshooting steps to reduce stringing on your print:
- Check and adjust the retraction settings in your slicer software. Increase the retraction distance and speed slightly to see if it helps reduce stringing.
- Ensure that the filament is well-supported and not causing any resistance in the extruder.
- Check the temperature settings for the filament you are using. Adjusting the temperature slightly can also help reduce stringing.
- Make sure your hotend is properly heated and not experiencing any fluctuations in temperature during the print.
By fine-tuning these settings, you should be able to achieve cleaner and less stringy prints.
wet filament probably if it was working fine before
What range does this test have? what material? Did you tune temperature before?
I’m using PLA and I’ve only preheated the temperature to 200 for the nozzle and 60 for the bed
Range of retraction?
I don’t know, where can I check?
so what should i do?
So you ran the retraction tower with unknown values or was it only a test at a single retraction distance?

I just printed it
@trim ore thank you so much, I’m watching the video right now just skipping to retraction. I will update you once I print it. At the moment it is raining
