Hey,
I am new to 3D printing, and only printed a few parts. But i have notice a line which occurs in all of my prints.
Does anybody know how to avoid these ? Maybe with a setting in the slicer (using Cura)
Thanks

Hello! It sounds like you may be experiencing layer lines in your prints. These can be caused by various factors such as inconsistent filament diameter, improper bed leveling, or incorrect print speed.
Here are some steps you can take to improve print quality and reduce layer lines:

  1. Check and adjust your printer's belt tension to ensure smooth movement.
  2. Ensure your print bed is level and at the correct temperature for the filament you are using.
  3. Adjust your print settings in Cura, such as layer height, print speed, and temperature, to optimize for smoother prints.
  4. Consider using a smaller nozzle size for finer details.
By adjusting these settings and ensuring proper printer maintenance, you should see an improvement in print quality and reduce the appearance of layer lines.

I think thats the seam line (where the layer ends and the printer goes up one) you can try and hide it using different settings in slicers like seam painting or the new scarf joints in orcaslicer
