It sounds like you're already quite familiar with the process of bed leveling and tramming. Since you're using a BLTouch, make sure it is properly calibrated and functioning correctly. If you're consistently having issues with one or two corners being slightly high, you may need to manually adjust the bed leveling screws in those specific areas to fine-tune the leveling.

Additionally, ensure that your initial layer height and nozzle distance are correctly set in your slicer software. You can also try adjusting the Z-offset in your printer settings to ensure the correct nozzle height during printing.

Lastly, make sure your bed surface is clean and free of any debris that could affect the printing process. Good luck with your troubleshooting!

This is the most recent mesh, my gcode creates a new mesh each time and should be saving that mesh and printing with it but again im not seeing any movement in the Z-Rod AT ALL to compensate, on my prints the top left and top right are basically perfect, the middle is suuuuper slightly high in some places on the circle and the bottom left is slightly high

#

About to send photos of my most recent bed level test finishes in about 10 minutes

Try replacing M420 S1 with the following:
G29 A; Activate Unified Bed Leveling
G29 L1; Load Mesh from Slot 1
G29 J4; Tilt Mesh

#

Also make sure that you're saving and loading the mesh from the same slot

; Ender 3 Custom Start G-code
G92 E0 ; Reset Extruder
G28 ; Home all axes
G29 A; Activate Unified Bed Leveling
G29 L1; Load Mesh from Slot 1
G29 J4; Tilt Mesh
G1 Z2.0 F3000 ; Move Z Axis up little to prevent scratching of Heat Bed
G1 X0.1 Y20 Z0.3 F5000.0 ; Move to start position
G1 X0.1 Y200.0 Z0.3 F1500.0 E15 ; Draw the first line
G1 X0.4 Y200.0 Z0.3 F5000.0 ; Move to side a little
G1 X0.4 Y20 Z0.3 F1500.0 E30 ; Draw the second line
G92 E0 ; Reset Extruder
G1 Z2.0 F3000 ; Move Z Axis up little to prevent scratching of Heat Bed
G1 X5 Y20 Z0.3 F5000.0 ; Move over to prevent blob squish

So this?

Do you have a mesh settings menu?

#

Is it stock firmware?

long chasm
#

Nope using the default marlin ender 3 v2 neo software

#

i did try the mriscoc software but i had issues with it and decided to revert back to the marlin one

#

Had issues with my screen since it was a TJC screen and displaying the mesh numbers even after installing the patch onto the screen

long chasm
#

So it should be moving the z-axis if this is working? like slightly adjusting as it prints?

It might benefit you to level the bed a little better. You can use the mesh to help you level rather than the paper test. It should be more reliable. The front of the bed should be lowered and then adjust your z-offset

#

Hmm yeah must be not leveled that well

#

Im not sure of the orientation of the graph to my print but the two squares on the front left and right have printed better than the back right which is extremely low and basically scraping the bed

gusty citrus
#

On the graph, zoom out. 0,0 will be the origin in the front left corner

long chasm
#

so my back right and front right are slightly too high so turn those two and make the bed go lower in those corners?

gusty citrus
#

Back right and front left i believe

#

nvm im dumb. you were right

#

back right and front right are high

long chasm
#

This is gonna be a cat and mouse game i think 😆

gusty citrus
#

just do your best. it won't be perfect

#

try to get everything under .2 if possible

long chasm
#

any ideas which one i should be moving?

#

i moved the front left back left and back right slightly down

gusty citrus
#

remember that lowering one corner will raise the opposite one (lowering front left raises back right)

long chasm
#

front right is at 0.169

#

ahh right thats... gonna be hard lol

gusty citrus
#

Very minor changes are needed. Like 1/8 turns. If possible you can change the mesh to 3x3 to speed up the new mesh process while you tram

long chasm
#

yeah default only does 4x4

#

i know on mriscoc it had a dedicated tramming thing which i managed to get each corner 0.0

#

but then i still had issues with z-axis stuff

gusty citrus
#

i have mriscoc on mine and i prefer to use the mesh tbh easier to visualize for me

long chasm
#

do you have a TJC screen?

#

I couldnt see any of the values it would just been green/red blocks on the bed mesh

gusty citrus
long chasm
#

It didn't work for me 😦

gusty citrus
#

You used one of the TJC board firmwares and updated the LCD firmware?

long chasm
#

Yep It let me boot into the software which is great but still didnt show any of the mesh numbers just colours

gusty citrus
#

That's sucks. So annoying that they've introduced a new screen into the mix

long chasm
#

Yepppp

#

Really struggling to get this tram done tho 😆

gusty citrus
#

is the bed loose at all?

long chasm
#

not really it flex's but not like wobbling

gusty citrus
#

Might just have some bed warp that you'll have to deal with. Just get it the best you can

long chasm
#

I think i was turning the screws the wrong way....

gusty citrus
#

I've done that more recently than i care to admit lol

long chasm
#

This is where im at so far

#

It goes

#

Back Left: 0.201
Back Right: 0.298
Front Left: 0.063
Front Right: 0.226

#

oh wait my b

gusty citrus
#

try a 1/8 turn on both high points

long chasm
#

just for record

#

to i turn clockwise or anti clockwise lol

gusty citrus
#

Turning left should raise the bed and right show lower I believe. You can test by turning one of the wheels a full turn or two and just look if the spring gets more or less compressed. Then do a full reverse turn (or two) to undo it

long chasm
#

I think this is as good as ill get it
