#Ender 5 Plus Bed probing fail

To begin with specs:
Ender 5 Plus - stock mechanics and motors, except for the hotend part
Stock Bltouch ender clone - stock mount but two washers added to lower it slightly
BTT SKR 3 EZ
BTT TFT24 V1.1
Marlin 2.1.x
Biqu H2 V2S hotend

In general, Z homing works okay
Z axis double motor alignment also works fine with no errors
However when I run the UBL bed levelling, it may run as intended, probe is going all over the bed, probing the surface. But each time I get "probing error" message on the screen.

What could it be?

AI Help

Based on the information provided and the video you shared, the "probing error" message during UBL bed leveling on your Ender 5 Plus with modified components could be due to several reasons:

  1. Interference: Ensure that there are no obstructions or loose cables that could interfere with the probing process.

  2. Electrical Noise: Electrical noise can sometimes affect the accuracy of the probing process. Make sure all connections are secure and consider adding ferrite cores to the probe and motor cables.

  3. Inaccurate Probe Settings: Check the probe offsets in your Marlin firmware configuration to ensure they are correctly set for your specific setup.

  4. Probing Speed: Adjust the probing speed in the firmware to see if a slower speed helps in reducing the probing errors.

  5. Firmware Configuration: Double-check your Marlin configuration files to ensure that all parameters related to the BLTouch and UBL bed leveling are properly set up.

I managed to work this out, in marlin "Z_AFTER_PROBING" should be uncommented and set to zero
and then just set NOZZLE_TO_PROBE_OFFSET to correct value
now the UBL is working right
before I had something like Z=10 with nozzle almost touching the bed
