I'm coming into issues with my Sovol SV06 purchased off Amazon where I am being confronted with an error message that says "ERR: MINTEMP: BED | PRINTER HALTED | PLEASE RESET", and when I turn it on the temp for the bed comes up with err and can't print anything. Resetting the printer hasn't helped and a google has only given me the answers "wiggle the cables" or to bust it open, which I'm not really that comfortable with as a first option to try testing stuff out, but it's also a bit of a Gordian knot in there and hotglued (not saying necessarily difficult, just intimidating with my caveman brain). I've tried to contact Sovol support, but while I initially got a message back saying "this is our Amazon address", I haven't been able to get ahold of them after 2 weeks of repeated attempts through email, their site and Amazon (did try facebook just now so hopefully that'll work). If anyone could help me out either with my issue of with actually getting ahold of someone from Sovol, that'd be great. Thanks
#Sovol SV06 Bed Issues

It seems like you're experiencing a temperature sensor issue with your Sovol SV06 3D printer. The "MINTEMP" error message typically indicates that the printer is not detecting the expected temperature on the bed. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
-
Check the wiring: Make sure all the connections between the temperature sensor for the bed and the control board are secure and not loose. You can gently wiggle the cables at the connection points to ensure they are properly seated.
-
Inspect the temperature sensor: If the wiring looks fine, it's possible that the temperature sensor itself is faulty. You may need to test the sensor or replace it if necessary.
-
Verify the temperature readings: Use a separate temperature measurement device, like an infrared thermometer, to check if the bed is actually heating up. This can help you determine if the issue lies with the sensor or the heating element.
If you're still unable to resolve the problem after these ...
Triple-check all the connectors and wiring, then run a PID tune.
It's likely just something got knocked slightly loose during shipping or assembly, but there's also a slim chance that something's outright broken, in which case good luck dealing with warranty claims. Last time I had to, took 'em a month to get the parts to me and one of 'em wasn't even correct.
Will do, have checked the cables a dozen times, but haven't ever done a PID tune, so will look into that, thanks
Check if all the wires are still attached in their connectors. Its not always obvious. Also did your toolhead ribbon cable get pinched?
