#Part has some sort of weird issue when slicing

I've got a tube part of a print that does not slice the same way... I cannot for the life of my figure out why. I tried using an online fixing program and Bambu's built in one and it still shows up this way. Can anyone help? I attached the file that's not working. I tried porting it into cura and no luck either

It sounds like the issue may be related to the geometry of the tube part itself. Without seeing the specific file, it's hard to provide a precise solution. Here are a few general troubleshooting tips that may help:

  1. Check for any non-manifold or overlapping geometry in the tube part.
  2. Ensure that the part is oriented correctly in your slicing software.
  3. Try adjusting the model's wall thickness or infill settings.
  4. Consider using a different slicing software to see if the issue persists.

If you continue to experience issues, feel free to provide more details or seek help from a 3D printing community for further assistance.

It seems like it's just too thin for your current settings. I couldn't get it to slice correctly until i put it on 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer height.

Ah I see! Thanks so much. Would there be a way to make it just thicker, without just scaling it up?

I'm sure it's possible, but this isn't really my area of expertise. The painful manual way would be to expand the outer wall manually in blender, but I'm sure someone else might know a better way to retain the important sizes.

if you use Cura, there's a setting called "Print Thin Walls" that I think would do it. other slicers might have something similar. you'll probably lose dimensional accuracy though, better to fix the model. make your walls thicker. you might also want to take stepover into account. https://ellis3dp.com/Print-Tuning-Guide/articles/stepover.html
