The roughness on the bottom layer of your print could be caused by several factors. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to identify and potentially resolve the issue:

  1. Check the leveling of your printer bed: It's crucial to ensure that the bed is properly leveled. If it is too close to the nozzle, it can cause excessive squishing of the filament, resulting in a rough bottom layer.

  2. Adjust the initial layer height: If your initial layer height is too high, it might cause poor adhesion and a rough surface. Try reducing the layer height slightly to improve the contact between the filament and the bed.

  3. Check the print speed: Printing too fast can lead to a rough bottom layer. You can try reducing the print speed to allow for better filament flow and adhesion.

  4. Review your slicer settings: Double-check your slicer settings, specifically the initial layer settings. Make sure the initial layer speed and flow rate are appropriate for your specific printer and fila...
