#[Ender 3 Pro v2] Print Quality Suddenly Tanked

I was printing some boxes for storage as the print quality slowly worsened between prints, mostly with walls being less flush. Eventually, one print just absolutely borked. I printed a test cube to see if it was just a slice, and it was similarly borked.

I went ahead and re-level'd the bed, tightened the X and Y belts, recalibrated my E-steps, and replaced the extruder tip. While most of the big issues are gone, the uneven finish is still there.

I use CURA for slicing, and the only modification to the printer has been a textured bed.

It sounds like you've already taken some good steps in troubleshooting the issue. Here are a few more things you can try to improve the print quality:

  1. Check the filament: Make sure your filament is not tangled or damaged. If it's old or low-quality filament, try switching to a fresh, high-quality roll.

  2. Check the filament diameter settings: Ensure that the filament diameter setting in your slicer software matches the actual diameter of your filament. Using the wrong filament diameter setting can lead to under-extrusion or over-extrusion.

  3. Temperature calibration: Experiment with different temperature settings for your filament. Sometimes adjusting the temperature slightly (up or down) can greatly improve print quality.

  4. Slow down the print speed: Try reducing the print speed in your slicer settings. Printing too fast can cause issues like under-extrusion or poor layer adhesion.

  5. Review slicer settings: Double-check your CURA settings to make sure they are optimized f...

First image is an example of the print quality deteriorating, the black cube is showing off some gaps from before my troubleshooting, the lime cube is post-troubleshooting steps in OP; note how uneven the lines still are

#

This is the first one I printed, as an example of how smooth it used to be

(Same slice as the leftmost box on the first image)
