#stringing and under extrusion?

Based on the image you provided, it appears that you are experiencing stringing or oozing, which often results in the "artifacts" you mentioned. Stringing occurs when the filament oozes out of the nozzle during non-printing movements, causing thin strands of filament to appear between printed parts.
To address this issue, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
-
Adjust retraction settings: Since you already have retraction enabled, you can try increasing the retraction distance to reduce stringing. Gradually increase the distance in small increments until you find the optimal value. Try increasing it to 1mm or higher and see if it makes a difference.
-
Adjust retraction speed: Similarly, you can try lowering the retraction speed to see if it helps. Sometimes reducing it to around 30mm/s can mitigate stringing issues.
-
Check nozzle temperature: Ensure that the nozzle temperature is appropriate for the filament you are using. Higher temperatures can lead to more oozi...
I'm running all metal e3d hotend, so I can't really adjust the retraction distance much, because too much clogs the nozzle
