Hi folks, tomorrow I'm intending to replace this one little stock fan with a pair of these Winsinns.

This default wire on the new ones is nowhere near long enough to reach the main board, and I'm not sure that I have an open slot on the board anyway for the second fan.

I've heard it's pretty standard to solder these wires and then use some heat shrink tube around them.

A, does anyone know yellow and blue which one's corespond to the black and red?

B. Will the existing cord from my board be enough to power both of them?

C.
Can somebody show me a wire map of how they should be soldered together?

A. The color coding of wires can vary depending on the manufacturer, so there isn't a standard color correspondence for fans. However, the black wire typically corresponds to the negative (ground) connection, while the red wire corresponds to the positive (power) connection. You can use a multimeter to confirm the polarity if needed.

B. It's difficult to say whether the existing cord from your board will be able to power both fans without knowing the specific power requirements of the fans and the capabilities of your board. You should check the specifications of your board and the fans to determine whether it can handle the additional power draw. If in doubt, it's generally safer to power each fan separately.

C. It would be best to find a wiring diagram or consult the manufacturer or user manual for your specific fans and board to ensure proper soldering. Soldering the wires together and using heat shrink tubing to insulate them is a common approach. Be sure to use the correct ga...

, One more thing, besides turning it off and unplugging it, is there anything I need to do to ensure electrical safety?

Great! Thanks so much!

So the two red wires touch together in a three-way with the yellow wire.

And the two black wires have a three-way with the blue wire.

Simple enough.
And once more thanks a ton.
