If you are encountering issues while printing ABS, here are a few troubleshooting tips:
-
Ensure your printer's bed is properly leveled: Improper bed leveling can lead to issues with the first layer. Check your printer's manual for instructions on how to level the print bed correctly.
-
Use a heated bed: ABS typically requires a heated bed to prevent warping and promote bed adhesion. Set the bed temperature to around 90-100°C.
-
Apply an adhesive: To improve bed adhesion, you can apply a layer of adhesive such as hairspray, glue stick, or ABS slurry to the print bed before starting the print. This helps the print stick to the bed more securely.
-
Adjust the nozzle height: Verify that the nozzle is close enough to the print bed to ensure proper adhesion. The recommended nozzle gap is usually around 0.1-0.2mm.
-
Optimize the first layer settings: Adjust your slicing software's settings to ensure a good first layer. Set a slower print speed for the initial layer, increase the...
ABS is challenging to print without an enclosure because it warps way, way more than PLA or PETG
to print ABS effectively you need to have an environment with no air drafts
If I were you, I would buy PLA or PETG instead if your needs don't specifically require ABS
Try enabling adhesion or a brim in the slicer
But someof my needs needs abs
How can i do it
what slicer
Creality
enable adhesion on the top right in print settings
Or should i make the nozzle more heated
what temps are you using
also try printing one at a time
yes
the part on the top left looks like it has very tight tolerances, so you should definitely print that by itself
