Its my first time changing firmware, im doing this on my ender 5 plus from 1.70 to 2.1.2.1 marlin to enable linear advance, I used teaching tech's tutorial and used a usb cable to upload the new firmware accidentally leaving the printer on whilst doing so. Once finished the screen changed as if it had finished a print, so I tried turning it on and off but some how that didnt work. When it turned back on it displayed the same finished print screen but this time in, im guessing, chinese. Ive tried to change the language in the firmware config files but it still displays the same screen. Thank you

It seems like there might have been an issue with the firmware update process. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Make sure you have the correct firmware file for your Ender 5 Plus and try to reflash it again following the tutorial. Double-check if you missed any steps or configuration settings.

  2. As you mentioned that the screen is displaying in a different language, it's possible that the firmware you flashed might have been intended for a different language setting. Check the firmware configuration files for language settings and adjust them accordingly.

  3. If the issue persists, you may need to perform a factory reset on your printer. Consult your printer's manual or manufacturer's website for instructions on how to do this. Keep in mind that a factory reset will erase all settings and configurations, so make sure to back up any important information beforehand.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it might be helpful to seek assistance from the manuf...

@short oxide touchscreen setups use a seperate firmware for the screen. I haven't messed with one, but IIRC you'd need a DWIN_SET folder to flash it
