This print started off fine, ended fine. The middle was all mush.
No idea what's going on. I'm sure it's user error as I've only had this printer for a few days. Outside of a decent benchy print, nothing else has been able to come out well.

It sounds like you may be experiencing issues with the print quality in the middle of your prints. There are a couple of factors that could be causing this problem. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check the filament: Make sure your filament is free from any knots, tangles, or obstructions. Ensure that it is properly loaded and feeding smoothly into the printer.
Calibrate the bed leveling: Improper bed leveling can lead to inconsistent layer heights and poor adhesion. Make sure your bed is properly leveled according to your printer's instructions.
Adjust the print temperature: Inconsistent temperature settings can lead to problems during printing. Experiment with slightly higher or lower temperatures for your filament and see if it improves the print quality.
Check the cooling settings: Insufficient cooling can cause problems, especially in the middle of a print. Ensure that your printer's cooling fans are functioning properly and that the airflow is...
What printer and filament?
Qidi X-Plus 3 and their included pla+ rapido
Not too sure but it could have been a partial nozzle clog part way through
i firmly suggest you turn off z hop if you have it enabled because the printer can't handle it
@lilac zinc
Thanks, i'll take a look. it's definitely not something i enabled unless it's toggled on by default
i haven't messed around with the settings much
i'm pretty sure it was enabled by default for me, not 100% sure
cool
i received the copper hot-end replacement yesterday
gotta swap it out for the hardened steel one i was using temporarily
your stock copper failed?
i feel like thats not the first time i hear that
not from you, just in general
good thing qidi has no problem sending replacements
yeah they were easy to work with
wouldn't say easy to work with but at least not too greedy
from my experience they responded with a day, told them i needed a replacement and they said ok.
