I got a used Ender 3 pro. Its my first ever 3D printer. Ive fixed a lot of the usable printing area issues I had except for the large gap towards the top of the bed plate. I have about 13mm of clearance before the bed carriage will hit anything.
Since it's used and has a BL Touch and everything is finally working well, im hesitant to touch the firmware since i dont have a copy of whatever was done to it, is there any way i can fix this?

Yes, there is a way to fix the large gap at the top of the bed plate without changing the firmware. You can try adjusting the bed leveling and the Z-offset settings.

First, make sure that your bed is properly leveled. Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer to level your bed. This will ensure that the nozzle is at the correct distance from the bed throughout its entire travel.

Next, you can adjust the Z-offset to bring the nozzle closer to the bed at the top. This can usually be done through the printer's LCD screen or via the firmware settings. Consult your printer's manual or online resources for specific instructions on how to adjust the Z-offset for your Ender 3 Pro.

By adjusting the Z-offset, you can decrease the gap at the top of the bed plate, ensuring proper adhesion and print quality. Remember to make small adjustments and test prints to find the optimal Z-offset setting for your specific printer.

If you're still experiencing issues after trying these steps...
