[ancient printer with 2 nozzles for extrusion]

the left nozzle works fine, the right one is acting weird... the filament i was using yesturday it was fine on, but I ran out of that one and so i have to use my back out filament that i think is slipping on the right extruder... the motors are turning but the fillament isnt going in to the extruder and isnt extruding... it works on the left one tho

now im also having a problem software, since i havent been able to set up any slicers for this other than makerware... which sucks and only lets met print using right nozzle with left as raft/support only...

I would like to use cura but i cant seem to get it set up or get my printer to show up on the software [i have a profile that should work but i cant test it bc printer cant be found in cura monitor mode... and yes i checked device menu and my laptop does recognize the printer]

also my printer does not a have usb slot to insert code and i have tried sending pre sliced files via SD card even one reformatted to under 2 GB and none of that works... im pretty sure the SD card slot is dead on the printer so I can really only print while connected to laptop

buying more fillament is a temporary fix, but I would rather get the more perma fix + bonus features of cura so plz help me set up cura

Next, for using Cura as your slicer software, ensure that you have downloaded and installed the correct version of Cura for your printer. Once installed, go to the printer settings in Cura and verify that you have selected the right printer profile. If your printer is not being detected by Cura, try updating the USB drivers on your computer or using a different USB cable.

As for the issue with the SD card slot, if it's not working, printing directly from a laptop is an alternative option. Ensure that your printer is con...

i only have cura 5.2.2

Try connecting with pronterface. Just slice in cura and send it via pronterface.
