Does anyone know why my print layers aren’t sticking together?

I did recently just get this filament, and in case it’s the issue I have put it into a dry box. I also suspect that the z-offset is too high though.

Does anyone know why, and what I can try?

There could be a few reasons why your print layers are not sticking together. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check the bed leveling: Ensure that your printer's build plate is leveled properly. If the bed is not level, it can affect layer adhesion.

  2. Verify the nozzle height: If you suspect a high z-offset, make sure the nozzle is properly leveled with the bed. Adjust the z-offset or re-level the nozzle if necessary.

  3. Improve bed adhesion: Clean the build plate with isopropyl alcohol to remove any oils or residue. You can also try applying a thin layer of glue stick, hairspray, or a specialized adhesive like a 3D printing bed adhesive.

  4. Adjust print temperature: If your filament is not sticking together, try increasing the print temperature slightly. This can help improve layer adhesion.

  5. Slow down the print speed: Printing too fast can prevent sufficient cooling time between layers. Try reducing the print speed to allow each layer to solidify properl...
