#Klipper Installation Not Working Properly

Sure, I'll be happy to answer your questions about 3D printing. What would you like to know?
did you follow a guide or anything?
yes.
This is a very detailed overview on how to quickly install Klipper on your Creality Ender 3 V2 Neo. This guide is perfect for beginners that don't want to read through hours worth of documentation or watch videos that might not show everything you need to do in order to get Klipper installed. This guide also works for any Creality printer, as lo...
except i used my own printer.cfg from online etc
did you try renaming the klipper.bin to firmware.bin?
try running curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mainsail-crew/MainsailOS/develop/patches/udev-fix.sh | bash, mainsailOS had a bug in it about this at one point
in this?
yeah
it just shows ^V
right click the header and paste from there
shutdown -r now
thats a reboot, auto
run the ls again, and just to make sure, printer is on and connected when you run it?
what serial did you have at the printer.cfg?
# V3 SE. To use this config, during "make menuconfig" select the
# STM32F103 with a "28KiB bootloader" and serial (on USART1 PA10/PA9)
# communication.
# If you prefer a direct serial connection, in "make menuconfig"
# select "Enable extra low-level configuration options" and select
# serial (on USART3 PB11/PB10), which is broken out on the 10 pin IDC
# cable used for the LCD module as follows:
# 3: Tx, 4: Rx, 9: GND, 10: VCC
# Flash this firmware by copying "out/klipper.bin" to a SD card and
# turning on the printer with the card inserted. The firmware
# filename must end in ".bin" and must not match the last filename
# that was flashed.
# This also works for the GD32F303 based Creality 4.2.2 board.
# See docs/Config_Reference.md for a description of parameters.```
USTART3 PB11/PB10
And whats the port you gave it ?
22
in the cfg?
oh in cfg
yeap
seems good
what does the klippy log says?

that exact time frame
yep. mb
it says Unable to open config file /home/pi/printer_data/config/printer.cfg
why in teh world
its there
Can you add : [include mainsail.cfg]
at the top of the printer.cfg ?
over [sterpper_x]
restart and down load the log file again and send it here
give me a sec
Ok so
Use this serial : on USART1 PA10/PA9
not the one you using right now
pb11/pb10 here should change to USART1 PA10/PA9
plug and unplug?
give it some time to connect
is it wireless or cable?
did you changed back to on USART1 PA10/PA9?
yeah
why is it a .config
yo what the hell
did you typed Q the Y for yes
yeah
and make ?
OH MAKE
Yeap 😛
So when you reflash the bin file you have to change the name that it previously was
ye
can you also send a screen shot of the setup menu before you hit quit and yes?
your bootloader should be : 28KiB bootloader
not 8kib
try changing that too and then compile
We can yes. not sure if I can be more of a help there though 😛
can you join in the voice channel?
curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mainsail-crew/MainsailOS/develop/patches/udev-fix.sh | bash

ls /dev/serial/by-id/*
systemctl restart klipper
