#Dual Fans behaving differently, better off just using one?

Had a san ace b52 blower fan and recently bought another one from digikey, problem is the new one responds differently to pwm from the older one (Using klipper), even when I get them both spinning the newer one blows a lot less air, and it feels to me like this would cause problems having different airflows on each side of the print.

Has anyone else experienced this? And am I better off just using a single one with dual ducts

Yes, it is not uncommon to have variations in performance between different fans, even if they are the same model. Factors such as manufacturing tolerances or different versions can result in variations in airflow. In your case, it seems like the newer fan is blowing less air compared to the older one when connected to the same PWM signal.

To troubleshoot this issue, you can try a few things:

  1. Double-check the wiring: Ensure that the connections to the new fan are correct and secure. Make sure it is connected to the same PWM signal as the older fan.

  2. Confirm PWM settings: Verify that the PWM settings for the new fan in your Klipper configuration match those of the old fan. Adjusting the PWM frequency or duty cycle might help improve uniformity.

  3. Test individually: Disconnect the old fan and only test the new fan. Check if it is able to reach the expected airflow without any issues. This will help to isolate whether the issue lies with the new fan or any external factors.

How do you have them connected?

In parallel, made a y-splitter but have tested both individually to make sure that wasn't the issue and the issue is the same

The model of the fans is exactly the same, Voltage too, however there is secondary number on the fans that is different which makes me thing that they've changed something internally in the time since I bought the first one which would explain the behaviour
