I have changed the hot end to a micro Swiss direct drive and have printed fine for a month or so. Then would print fine at lower levels but when detail level came up it would stop extruding. Did this a few times then now not responding at all. Tested the connection with old drive motor as well as different cable with no change. I have tested the voltage of pins on the board and it doesn’t seem to be getting voltage to the (E) pins in the run position. I’m guessing the board is bad Anyone else run into this issue. The board that came in it is 1.1.5v. If I was going to change this board any suggestions on upgrading it???
Thank you in advance for any input.

Based on the information you provided, it seems like there may be an issue with the extruder motor connection or the board itself. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check the wiring: Make sure the connections between the extruder motor and the board are secure and properly connected. Double-check the pinout to ensure everything is in the correct position.

  2. Test the motor: Disconnect the extruder motor from the board and test it by connecting it directly to a power source. If the motor is working fine, then the issue may lie with the board.

  3. Swap with a known working motor: If possible, try using a different motor on the extruder to see if it operates correctly. This will help determine if the motor or the board is the problem.

  4. Check the firmware settings: Ensure that the firmware configuration matches the changes made, specifically regarding the micro Swiss direct drive upgrade.

If after these steps the issue still persists and you suspect a faulty boa...
