Got my new bambu p1s and i'm pretty new to 3D printing in general.

I used PLA Matte from bambu

0.16mm layer height (is this the culprit?)

220 Celsius at first, i tried seitching to 195 later but didnt seem to make mich of a difference unfortunately.

Anything else i should try?

It's great that you're getting started with 3D printing! Regarding your settings:

  1. Layer height: A layer height of 0.16mm is generally a good starting point. It's not likely the main culprit, but you can try adjusting it slightly to see if it affects the print quality.

  2. Temperature: PLA usually prints well around 200-220 degrees Celsius. It's unusual that lowering the temperature to 195 didn't make much difference. However, make sure that the temperature is consistent throughout the entire print, and check if your printer's temperature readings are accurate. Inconsistent temperature can lead to issues.

Here are a few other things to consider and troubleshoot:

  1. Check your bed leveling: Ensure that your print bed is level and at the correct distance from the nozzle. Improper bed leveling can cause issues with the first layer adhesion and affect overall print quality.

  2. Filament quality: Make sure your filament is of good quality and stored in a dry environment to prevent m...
