#Help putting these two pieces together.

I don't know if this is the right community but here's nothing.

I am in the final process of making a cosplay for my Nephew. Its Reaper from Overwatch. I decided to split the arm pieces for printing and then fix them together with elastic so my nephew can fit them on easily and they (in theory) should slide into place. Unfortunately that is't the case.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix these pieces together?

Many thanks

There are a few methods you can try to fix the arm pieces of your cosplay together. Here are a couple of suggestions:

  1. Pegs and Holes: Add pegs to one of the arm pieces and corresponding holes to the other. This will allow them to fit together snugly. You can use dowel rods or even small sections of filament as pegs. Make sure the pegs are aligned properly with the holes for a secure connection.

  2. Adhesive: If the pieces don't need to be detachable, you can use strong adhesive to permanently bond them together. Epoxy glue or super glue are good options for this purpose. Apply the adhesive sparingly to avoid any mess.

Remember to consider the weight and movement of the cosplay when selecting a connection method. Good luck with your Reaper cosplay!
