#Can’t dial in my z offset

I got my pei bed for my ender 3, and chep’s e leveller 2 tool. I used it to level my bed, probe my z offset, and used his squares test, and it came out perfect, but when I tried to print my own files, the nozzle is too close to the bed. What gives?

If your nozzle is too close to the bed while printing, it might be due to a few reasons. Firstly, make sure that the Z offset you set using Chep's e leveller 2 tool is correctly configured in your printer's firmware. Double-check if the offset value is entered accurately.

If the nozzle is still too close, you can try adjusting the bed leveling manually. Start by homing your printer and disabling the stepper motors. Then, manually move the nozzle to each corner of the bed, ensuring that a piece of paper can slide with slight resistance between the nozzle and the bed. Adjust the bed leveling screws accordingly until the nozzle is adequately leveled across the bed.

Additionally, ensure that your print bed is clean and free from any debris that may affect the nozzle's distance from the bed. Sometimes, using a different filament or changing the printing surface might also require recalibrating the Z offset.
