My Ender 3 is very loud. How can I make it quieter? Especially the fans of the printer head and the power supply are really loud.
I don't need it SUPER quiet. Just so that I won't hear it from the other room.

What are cheap solutions for reducing the sound? I don't want to replace all the fans, and get a quieter new power supply and new mainboard.
I've seen enclosures(like tents) that are advertised as soundproof. There are cheap, but I'm not sure how much actually help.

  1. Damping Pads: Placing adhesive damping pads on the metal frame of your printer can help absorb vibrations and reduce noise. These pads are inexpensive and can be found online or at local hardware stores.

Adding some foam padding or acoustic panels to the interior of the enclosure can further help dampen the sound.

  3. Rubber Feet: Replacing the printer's standard feet with rubber ones can minimize the transfer of vibrations to the surface it's placed on, resulting in less noise being emitted.

  4. Fan Shrouds: Upgrading the fan shrouds with larger ones made of quieter materials, such as a Noctua fan, can reduce fan noise. However, please note that this solution r...
